Dormers and Pretty Ceiling Lines in Upstairs!

Each of the upstairs bedrooms has a dormer window that looks out to the back of the house, and a big window on the side.

This is looking at the loft area.  We made the window very big in this area.

A Beautiful Front Porch is Next!

The porch is not complete yet, but they wanted to hurry and get it on, because the roofers start the day after tomorrow.

Big Delivery from Golden Eagle Log Homes!

The truck drives all the way up to the building site this time.

Some of the windows were also delivered.  No photos, but the truck got stuck up at the building site because of the tight access.  Greg had to cut down a small pine out of the field so that it could get out. 

Roof Trusses!!! BIG Roof Trusses!!!

Crane arrives on Wednesday, July 13th to help with the biggest, central trusses.

Septic Tank, Anyone?

The septic field is just to the north of where they placed the tank. 

The second floor goes up!

Second floor sub-floor is completed. 

Greg is standing in what will be the loft area. One bedroom and bath will be behind him.  I am standing in the other bedroom.
